Weekly Email 11-24-04

One of the annual classic events in NYC is the balloon-float inflating on the upper west side each Weds night before T-Day.

All the floats are laid out for the kids to enjoy! Then they rise to life before all! Sponge Bob, Big Bird, Clifford, Super Grover, Garfield etc - you can see on TV!

Tonight was a rainy night, but 1,000's turned out for the event! I tried to get a classic shot of the preparations but not much was happening - so just picture it all!

We've had days and days of clouds here in the east. Even the pigeons are tired of it!

The sun is shining and the election is over. whew! Hope you have a great weekend and enjoy the crisp fall weather! This weekend is marathon time in NYC so the place will be jumping with 40,000 runners.

Isn't nature amazing - how does a flower do that?
