Improv Everywhere No Pants Subway Ride NYC 2014

The annual no pants ride is a fun event.  It puts smiles on thousands of people riding the subway.  As the masses enter the various stations, they take turns getting on the cars, then as the cars pass each stop, more and more people take their pants off.  Now think about the unsuspecting tourist who is returning from ground zero or some other attraction and sees many people riding the subway without pants.  It's a unique experience.  Some of the riders end their journey in Union Square where the party continues in the station for about 45 minutes then the police clear them out and up they go to Union Square.
All images shot with the Fujifilm X-E2 and the XF14 and XF23mm lenses.  ISO 800-2000.
Enjoy the show.

They send the drone up for some aerial fun

So once everyone is organized into several groups they set out in waves to board the subways.  Getting folks in and lined up on the whole platform is key to have an evenly saturated event.
