As most folks who know I'm not much of an eater.
This week I happened upon a sight which just confirms my aversion to certain foods. I know it will be interesting to hear the responses from some who say YUM and some who say YUCK.
I included the front end of the pig - but not the back end - so I have that as well if you need the view just ask!!
Have a great Superbowl weekend - let the commercials begin!

As a surprise to the bride and groom from last week's images - I did a fun light writing set of images on the beach.
A bunch of folks ask me why do you carry a flashlight with you? Well there are lots of sane reasons and here is one of them illustrated in the image attached. I opened the shutter for 30 seconds and wrote their names and the heart - backwards - on the edge of the water at their beach reception party. Folks were looking at me thinking - what's wrong with him over there - but I'm happy I got the image done!

We all know how I hate to miss a weekly email on Friday - but I did - so here is the "make-up" one.
I was at a wedding in St. Lucia and cannot help but share two pics from the wedding for the weekly.
I was just a guest - but I snapped a few shots while there this week (ok 1600 is not a few) and here are two of the many favorites. Now the editing, key-wording and uploading process begins!
Hope you all have a great week - big day for the nation tomorrow.

The first week back to the grind was not particularly exciting - but life on the streets had me looking around my fair city.
The shots here speak to two thoughts.
The AT&T building certainly makes you ask yourself how bad is your office - do you have a window view?? I have a feeling this is where a bunch of the data is collected on our phone calls to and from NYC.
The other shot is of the rail yard leading into Penn Station. It's amazing so many tracks come from under the Hudson River and into Penn - and this is part of the area being discussed as getting covered and used as "new" land for development on the west side (that may be scrapped with the 2009 economic outlook)

I hope everyone had a great new year's eve. Next week goes back to the normal routine with work and life in our economically challenged environment.
I thought about what kind of resolution would be a good one and realized we're all probably guilty sometime of checking our cell phone or blackberry at lunch/dinner when out with friends. Even my six year old nephew is addicted to the blackberry as you see here.
So a good resolution for 2009 is to pay more attention to others and less to the crackberry (when in social situations of course!).
ps - kidding about Simon and the blackberry - though he is a busy executive.
