New Tiny Fujifilm X-T1 Lens Kit

One of the things that has been sorely missing in our line is of course a mini magnetic camera set!
Fujifilm is launching a new site for Parts and Accessories to many of our cameras and other gear.  It is going to grow in time to encompass more - so at launch let's take it slow and know that it is here and it will be expanding.

Have you ever wondered where to get that elusive lost battery door for your instax?  Or perhaps you wanted to find a battery for an older camera?  This is the place!

One of the cool fun items coming soon is the mini X-T1 kit!  Yes it is as you see here.  And no nothing about it is functional beyond just having fun with a magnetic camera kit that looks really cool.  Geek out !

All Film Simulations and Advanced Filters in the X-Pro2

The X-Pro2 is a versatile camera with tons of features packed inside.  Some of the hot ones we've shared in the other X cameras are the advanced filters and the fantastic film simulations.  Here is a run down of what they look like.  They are all listed with details here -

These are the Film Simulations - Starting w Provia - then Velvia then Astia then Classic Chrome.
There is an X-Pro2 microsite which has stories about many of the features and parts of the camera.  Here is the one about the film simulations.

Then there are the two Neg versions - similar to Pro400H and 160S.

Then the new one I'm digging - Acros - with three filter variations - Yellow - Red - Green.  The traditional Monochrome with the same filters and lastly Sepia.

Focal Lengths from 10mm to 560mm aka 15mm to 840mm

I'm really digging what I can do with the not so heavy XF100-400 lens around town.  The lens is pretty versatile from grabbing birds in flight to shooting flowers as I showed in the previous post highlighting the lens.
This series is a range from XF10mm in the first one then XF16mm  all the up to the end of the XF100-400 at various focal lengths. Going out to a for reaching 560mm which starts to have issues with general air pollution and haze.
The 560 is reached with the 400mm and the 1.4xTC - so an X focal length of 560mm or converted to conventional 35mm this would be equal to approximately 840mm.  There is a street sign sort of lower left of center which I zoom in on as we look at the high power view.

Here is 400mm - and then below 560mm.  I need to do this again with a more interesting subject.
