Fujifilm X-Pro1 Accessories Update and Images (18mm)- USA

As we near the ship date of the X-Pro1 on March 27th (that's the leaving the warehouse date - as of this writing) I wanted to give a few tidbits of info regarding the accessories.
The accessories which include the battery, filters, flash, case and grip WILL BE available at the same time as the camera and lenses ship.
A quick review of the items are:
16225858 X-PRO1 NP-W126 Battery $68.99
16225901 X-PRO1 BC-W126 Charger $68.99

16240896 X-PRO1 Leather Case $148.99
16240913 X-PRO1 Assist Grip    $94.99

16241307 EF-X20 Shoe Mount Flash  $228.99 NEW*
16144597 EF-20 Shoe Mount Flash     $129.99

16144614 EF-42 Shoe Mount Flash     $199.99

16240951 PRF-39 Protector Filter (39mm) $55.99
16240963 PRF-52 Protector Filter (52mm) $59.99

I am trying to find more time to shoot some more exciting subjects, but until I do I am still surprised and elated with the quality of the JPEG files out of the X-Pro1.  These are images with the 18mm lens from a walk around town.  No special handling or processing.  Just fine details and color!  Click to enlarge.  I think the lines and edges look great with the 18mm.

What's awesome for me to see in these two images is the clarity of the wires from the spire on the right side of the image.  There may be compression issues with the blog - but they are clear in the "original" jpeg.  No sharpening done to any images.

  3. Hi there,

Can you have a protector filter and the lens hood at the same time on the lens?

    Thank you for your time.

    Regards,
    Me.
