Today on a rainy day there was an emotional and thought provoking gathering of thousands of Fire and Police to observe the funeral of Capt. Zanetis. In a procession lined by the FDNY his casket traveled down Fifth Ave to Washington Square Park where the ceremony was held. He was killed in a helicopter accident in Iraq serving in the Air National Guard.
