Washington Square Hawk View
Today I learned about the pair of red tailed hawks living on a building at NYU. There is a neat live camera streaming site set up to watch their chicks hatch in about two weeks from now. I am sure the action will heat up in the nest once they are born. Here is a shot I did today while trying to capture the pair. Unfortunately no real interaction at the nest since mom is kind of sitting all day and hidden from view from the ground. The 28mm shot shows the hawk in the top left on the church cross at 700mm.
